WRITING / BRANDING
Beginning in 1995, Mark Jonathan Davis worked as writer/producer, jingle composer, and network announcer/singer on numerous network television marketing/promotion projects for NBC-TV, CBS-TV, MTV, Nick At Nite, TVLand, The Disney Channel, FOX-TV, TBS, and Warner Brothers Animation.
Davis launched his own jingle production company and advertising agency, producing parodies, TV themes, commercial jingles, and other music projects for TV networks and syndicators. He also created parody songs for the syndicated sports blooper show "ROGGIN'S HEROES," and for the ABC/Disney animated TV series "HOUSE OF MOUSE." As a freelance branding consultant and copywriter, Davis provided marketing/packaging/branding services to clients including WALT DISNEY IMAGINEERING, DISNEY CONSUMER PRODUCTS, TIVO, FOX FAMILY CHANNEL, KROQ, and HOBBICO. Davis has named theme park attractions, restaurants, retail stores, and developed product brands, packaging, and slogans for toys, video games, TV shows, museum exhibits, books, bands, websites, retail stores, and a radio-controlled mechanical toy surfer. And, as a freelance comedy writer, he contributed jokes to THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN, comedian David Spade on "SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE," and PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON. |
