NICK AT NITE / TVLAND

From 1993-1998, Mark Jonathan Davis worked as a promo writer/producer and jingle singer for NICK AT NITE and TVLAND. He produced parodies, interstitials, celebrity interviews, and award-winning promos for the networks, and worked in their New York City offices on a series of specials, programming blocks, and ad campaigns.
One of his promo parody songs, "Jeannie's Diner," about "I Dream Of Jeannie," won a Bronze at the Broadcast Design Awards, a Silver Award at the Houston World Fest, and a Gold World Medal for Entertainment Program Promotion at the International Film and Television Festival. The promo also aired on TVLand in 1998, earning praise from TV Guide. Davis also wrote the "Taxi" chapter in the 1996 book "NICK AT NITE'S CLASSIC TV COMPANION." |
