Since 2000, Mark Jonathan Davis has performed as the lounge singer character RICHARD CHEESE. Davis has arranged, recorded, produced, and performed more than 300 songs over 30+ album/CD/LP releases, and has made numerous TV and film appearances and played hundreds of live concerts worldwide.
Davis art directed and designed the album covers, artwork, logos, graphics, and packaging for the entire Richard Cheese & Lounge Against The Machine catalog, as well as creating dozens of unique posters, flyers, souvenirs, and T-shirt designs. And, in 2021, he wrote, performed, and directed a full-length Richard Cheese concert film, "RICHARD CHEESE LIVE FROM HOLLYWOOD." A live album recording of the show was released in 2023 and is now on sale on all music platforms and at richardcheese.com. The Richard Cheese & Lounge Against The Machine band embarked on "POSSIBLY PROBABLY POTENTIALLY PERHAPS THEIR LAST EVER TOUR" in fall 2023. An all-new Richard Cheese studio album, "BLUE NO MATTER WHO," arrived in August 2024. And "GRATEFUL," an autobiographical book by Mark Jonathan Davis about the history of the Richard Cheese band, will be released in 2025.
